VIDEO: Housewives’ Denton Says “Everybody” Misses Nicollette Sheridan

Just a few months ago, the departure of Nicollette Sheridan from primetime’s long-running hit Desperate Housewives had everyone speculating on infighting, egos and high drama.

Wisteria Lane is once again a flurry of activity, with filming on season six currently underway, and what’s it like being back without her?

“I really miss Nicollette, everybody does,” James Denton, who plays hunky plumber Mike Delfino, told RadarOnline.com at the Los Angeles Dodgers 51st Celebrity Softball game.

“She’s happy and was ready to move on,” Denton maintains.

Such is life–and real estate, for that matter–as Edie Britt’s lot on the Lane is now occupied by Drea de Matteo.

The Sopranos actress is joining Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria Parker, Marica Cross and Felicity Huffman as a regular this season.

Matteo makes her first appearance in episode two, and Denton says she’s already vibing with the group.

“It’s fantastic, she’s fit right in…we’re really lucky to have her, ” Denton said.
