Notice that the pickings are slim tonight? Well, of course-because what else are you watching besides the 82nd Annual Academy Awards? Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin are sharing hosting duties-and they have big shoes to fill after Hugh Jackman’s memorable turn last year. We have a feeling they’ll do just fine but the big question is whose taking home gold statuettes? There is so much competition in each category-there really isn’t a clear cut winner! The Best Picture category features a whopping ten movies and all are worthy of the honor. Avatar is the frontrunner but keeping those blue aliens company in the race are The Blind Side, District 9, An Education, The Hurt Locker, Inglorious Basterds, Precious, A Serious Man, Up and Up in the Air.

Other hot categories include George Clooney (Up in the Air) and Jeff Bridges (Crazy Heart) vying for Best Actor and Sandra Bullock (The Blind Side) with her first nomination ever in the Best Actress category. Word on the street is that she’ll win-but she’s also up against Meryl Streep who literally became Julia Child in Julie and Julia and of course Gabourey Sidibe, the newly discovered actress who broke hearts with her performance in Precious. And in the Best Supporting Actress category-it looks like Mo’Nique is a shoo in for Precious. But Vera Farmiga and Anna Kendrivck were just so darn great in Up in the Air that it’s a hard call to make.

The red carpet arrivals start on ABC at 8pm ET and then the awards begin promptly at 8:30pm ET (though we can’t promise they’ll end before your bedtime) so make sure to get your viewing parties started on time!

Are you ready for some football? Because, let’s be honest, it is Super Bowl Sunday. Even if you don’t know a touchdown from a field goal-you’re watching the game tonight. It’s practically mandatory so let us give you the scoop. It’s the Indiana Colts versus the New Orleans’ Saints and the game is taking place in sunny Miami, Florida. Peyton Manning, a four time league MVP leads the Colts with the hopes of giving them their second title in four seasons. The Colts-featuring Kim Kardashian’s boyfriend Reggie Bush-have never been to the Super Bowl ever so it’s a big game for them to say the least!

So. impress your friends with those stats but also know there’s more than just the game to keep yourself entertained. You have outrageous commercials during the breaks and the half-time show features a performance by the legendary rock band, The Who!

After a little break for the holiday season, the first-run TV viewing options are back in full force this evening!

When we last left the ladies of Wisteria Lane on Desperate Housewives—a jet crashed right into their holiday party! The cliffhanger? We had no idea if Bree, Karl and Orson made it out alive. Well, before the survivors are revealed, the women deal with the aftermath by playing “what if” and imagine how their lives could have been different if they made different choices. For example—Susan thinks about what would have been if she never divorced Karl!

On perhaps the biggest and most exciting (and two hour!) edition of Iron Chef America, First Lady Michelle Obama arrives to fill the chefs in on their secret ingredient—the White House garden! So, chefs Emeril Lagasse and Mario Batali go up against chef Bobby Flay and White House executive chef Cristeta Comerford to create the “ultimate meal for America.”

After the excitement of watching some of the best chefs in the world do their thing—leave it to the Food Network to take us to the opposite side of the spectrum. Worst Cooks in America is a new reality competition featuring 12 of the most self-proclaimed, awful chefs around. Chefs Beau MacMillan and Anne Burrell put them though a ten day culinary boot camp to whip them into gourmet shape—with a $25,000 prize at stake for the winner!

It’s 90 minutes of reality TV goodness tonight on E! with back-to-back episodes of Girls Next Door followed by the premiere of an all-new show starring a familiar face!

On the season finale of Girls Next Door, first Holly and Bridget team up with Crystal and the twins to throw Kendra a baby shower!  And then, Hef and Crystal celebrate one year together. Awww—and they said it wouldn’t last!

But, get ready because Holly Madison finally has her very own show about her life in Las Vegas with the series premiere of Holly’s World. You knew this show was coming because the former first girlfriend of Hef was never gonna let the other ex-girlfriend Kendra hog all the attention!

And, Desperate Housewives airs its most explosive episode to date! A plane, yes a plane, crashes into Wisteria Lane and everyone may not walk away from the scene safely. Plus, that Katherine is getting crazier by the minute. Did she really stab herself last week? Do you think she’s going to try and blame Mike (he did touch the knife before she did the deed)? You’ll have to tune in to find out!

If you’re not watching Dexter—it’s not too late to get into one of the most fascinating and addictive dramas on TV!  This season features John Lithgow playing one of the creepiest psychopaths we’ve ever encountered while Dexter desperately tries to juggle being a family man by day and a murderer by night!

Curb Your Enthusiasm has been chock full of guest stars this year (including the much hyped Seinfeld reunion that will go on throughout the season). Tonight, Rosie O’Donnell appears and of course she has a difference of opinion with Larry. What about? What else—a restaurant bill!

And Desperate Housewives just keeps getting juicier. Tonight, Gaby realizes she’s not quite over her former gardener (and May-December fling) John as he shows more and more attention to her niece Ana while Katherine continues to fall apart after losing Mike to Susan.

It’s the selfless versus the selfish tonight. First, Extreme Home Makeover’s Ty Pennington heads across the Atlantic to spread some renovation love in England. He helps a small village revamp their historic town park. Sounds so inspiring, right? Well, if it’s a bit too heartwarming, then VH1 takes it down a notch with the premiere of Megan Wants a Millionaire starring Megan Hauserman. She’s pretty much made a career out of competing on reality TV shows. She was part of the winning team on Beauty and the Geek, vied for Brett Michael’s heart on Rock of Love and tried to win lots of dough on I Love Money. She even tried to clean up her act on Charm School. Well now, Megan attempts to fulfill her lifelong goal of becoming a trophy wife by having 18 single millionaires compete for her heart. At least she has goals, right?

But Sundays are nothing without the trifecta of awesome TV over on HBO with True Blood, Hung and Entourage. On True Blood, Jason tries to break free from the Fellowship of the Sun and on Hung, Ray has to deal with an unsatisfied customer. But on Entourage Drama auditions actresses to play his new love interest . . . and you know he’s gonna let that power go straight to his, uh, head.
