Real Housewives of NY May Be Replaced

Someone clearly needs a reality check. A network insider is claiming that the cast of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York are dragging their heels to sign contracts for returning to the show because they want more money.
“The Housewives all want six-figure deals,” a source told the NY Daily News. “They barely made 10 grand for the first season, and now are all a bit too big for their britches. They want the whole shebang: a clothing allowance, money for hair and makeup, a set raise and a promised amount of screen time.” While the newest housewife Kelly Bensimon has signed back on, the other slots may now be up for grabs if the network decides they want fresh faces instead of caving into the demands.

One source said that Bravo has been quietly interviewing at least thirty prospective cast members who are single moms in their thirties like Bensimon.
“They’re forgetting that the New York show now plays second fiddle to the New Jersey show. They should watch out!”
Cast member Alex McCord remains adamantly hopeful for a positive outcome: “We’re headed to Australia to promote the show. And we wouldn’t be doing that if we weren’t ready for next season.”
