Amid Mischa Barton’s much-publicized meltdown, production on her new show, The Beautiful Life, has been postponed by nine days. Production – which was supposed to have begun Wednesday – has been pushed back to July 31.
A source claims the delay has nothing to do with Barton being put on an involuntary psychiatric hold at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center – but rather , the source says, it’s because the show’s sets are not yet completed.
The Beautiful Life, which casts Barton as a supermodel, is slated to debut Sept. 16 on the CW. Ashton Kutcher is the executive producer.
