With Jon in France with girlfriend Hailey Glassman, and Kate just back from a Hollywood business trip, the merry-go-round that is the Gosselin family is throwing up huge question marks as to the future of their TLC reality series.

The producers have already said that Jon’s gf Hailey Glassman will not be part of the show – but what’s Jon’s future?

“He can’t just walk away from it.  He needs the high profile that TV gives him in order to sell the kids clothing line he’s working on with Ed Hardy’s Christian Audigier,” a fashion industry insider told RadarOnline.com. “And consumers will want to know that the profits from this venture are all going to the kids.  That will be an important marketing tool if they go forward with the line.

“But parading around France with his girlfriend this soon after splitting from Kate is probably not the smartest move,” the source said.  “If Jon’s former fans end up hating him because of how he’s now behaving, any business venture – kids clothing or whatever – could have a very rough go.  Consumers aren’t going to buy clothes from a celeb they detest – and fans of the show may not even want to see him back in the house with the kids – which would be a double whammy for the clothing line.”
