Michael Vick is hoping to trade his ankle bracelet for a jersey.
The former Atlanta Falcon quarterback was released Monday from 23-month stint in federal custody on dog fighting charges, meaning no more his home confinement or having to wear a monitoring device.
The quarterback’s attorney, Lawrence Woodward, said he hopes his client is able to resume his football career, which hinges on the approval of the league’s hard-nosed commissioner, Roger Goodell. The Miami Dolphins, San Francisco 49ers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Oakland Raiders and Washington Redskins have all been mentioned as possible destinations for the talented athlete.
