You won't see huge semi-trucks teeming with equipment and roadies pulling up to one of Gary Go's gigs -- the English musician can fit his entire band in his back pocket.

The UK vocalist, aided by a symphony of modern day technology (namely his iPhone and his Twitter account), is establishing himself as a rising star on the music scene.

Go makes music using software downloaded on his iPhone, mimicking the sounds of guitars, drums, piano and horn sections via a four-track recording studio installed on his device. Many of his lyrics are written by fellow Twitter users in response posts he has made on his account.

He recently performed, using just his iPhone, to a packed house at 70,000-seat Wembeley Stadium -- the same venue that has hosted household names such as Madonna, Metallica and George Michael -- in what was believed to be the largest audience to witness an iPhone-only concert.

Go, who looks like a younger Elvis Costello, has already garnered some critical acclaim as well; the BBC described the innovative musician's nascent, self-titled album as "impeccable modern, downbeat pop."
