Less than four days after being arrested recently for a DUI in Miami Beach, the actor was slamming back shots and mixed drinks at private lounges and parties during swim fashion week, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

An eyewitness (who told all to RadarOnline.com) watched as Donovan entertained a young bombshell brunette in a hotel suite, ordering a few rounds of shots for his lovely lass before spewing various lines from Frank The Tank, Will Ferrell’s heavily inebriated character from Old School. “The girl was only mildly amused,” RadarOnline.com’s witness laughed.

A visibly wobbly Donovan later dropped his forearm in the girl’s lap and proudly proclaimed how great his veins looked.

His veins? Yup. Must be a new pickup line.

Donovan, fixated on his arm vein said: “No, seriously. They’re really nice. Don’t you think so?”

Apparently the brunette did. Our witness later spotted her hanging off the 41-year-old actor’s arm while at a party at Louis Lounge in the Gansevoort South hotel. “Jeffrey had more than a few drinks by this point, and looked upset the photographers hired to shoot the event kept trying to take his picture. He shooed more than a few of them away,” our source said. “He didn’t want anyone to get a shot of him with a cocktail in his hand.”

The USA network star was arrested on July 12 after narrowly avoiding slamming his Audi into the back of a police cruiser stopped at a red light. The police report says he failed a field sobriety test, and allegedly said “The only mistake I made tonight was drinking Benadryl with 3 glasses of wine," Donovan said. "I really think I'm only borderline and not too drunk."

The actor could face six months in jail if convicted of the one count of DUI.
