Somewhat cheesy, somewhat contrived but absolutely compelling, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag's antics on NBC's I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here continue to entertain during the usually tepid summer TV schedule.
The couple, whose fake LAX arrival dominated headlines just a day ago, were back in the humid Costa Rica jungle Wednesday night, playing the contrition card in hopes their teammates would take them back into the fold.

Pratt chalked up the incident to temporary insanity, adding "I'm here for good -- I don't know if I'm even going back to the states."
Montag said "the devil got to us," and said the couple's initial desire to leave was "only about us."
Wednesday night's episode ended on a cliffhanger, with The Hills duo anxiously awaiting their fate.
I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here airs weeknights on NBC throughout the month of June.
