Bret Michaels never saw it coming.
After a performance at Sunday’s Tony Awards, the 80s rocker was blowing kisses to his adoring public, which made him a few steps late in following his band-mates under the descending set.
Oops.
The 46-year-old VH1 reality star was, as a result, violently knocked in the head by a descending hunk of the stage after the rendition of the Poison hit, “Nothin’ But a Good Time”.
Michaels “missed his mark,” Tonys spokeswoman Christina Stejskal told the AP, adding she did not immediately know the extent of his injury.
