Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt were chastened for the second time Monday morning, first by Al Roker, then by Whoopi Goldberg and Barbara Walters of ABC's The View.

When asked about their train-wreck of a stint on NBC's summer reality show, I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here, Pratt -- to the disgust of Whoopi Goldberg -- blamed the whole fiasco on agents and lawyers they shouldn't have trusted.

"You better get yourselves together or you're going to be in the street," a visibly-annoyed Goldberg told the blond couple, who gained fame on MTV's The Hills. "You're going to have to take responsibility. You're too old now. Last year it was cute. Now you're adults."

It got better.

After Pratt -- notorious for not knowing (or caring) when his foot in his mouth -- proclaimed the couple's fame on par with US President Barack Obama's ("If we lived in the White House, I would say we would be No. 1!"), venerated journalist Walters took exception.

"You are famous for nothing but being famous," Walters said, urging the pair to find real work, as opposed to their current regimen of reality TV stunts to keep them relevant.

When Pratt and Montag tried to use their newfound religious revival as a foreshadower of their changed ways, Walters asked Montag if the Virgin Mary would have posed for Playboy (as Montag reportedly did last week).

"I'm more a modern version of Mother Teresa," Montag said.
