Bill Engvall trades in his blue collar for a bow tie tonight as he hosts the 2009 Country Music Awards! Get ready for some footstompin’ performances by Taylor Swift, Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, Keith Urban and Def Leppard. You can expect some of the usual faces presenting like, Julianne Hough, Naomi Judd, Martina McBride, Lee Ann Womack and Kid Rock. You can also look out for some presenters that we wouldn’t necessarily expect to see at a country music awards show, but can kinda get it, like actor Luke Wilson and American Idol’s Randy Jackson. And then we have some presenters that just make us go WTF?!, like Bill O'Reilly, Dancing With the Stars champs Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas... and rapper T-Pain! Now don’t get me wrong, I’m thrilled to see them (O’Reilly maybe not so much), but seriously… T-Pain? WTF?!

Jada Pinkett Smith and Michael Vartan make a return to TV tonight with HawthoRNe. Not as dark as Nurse Jackie and not as ‘OMG no way!’ as Grey’s Anatomy, TNT’s medical drama follows the life of the tough, yet empathetic chief nurse, Christina Hawthorne, a recent widow trying to raise a rebellious teenage daughter and survive a mother-in-law. Cutie-pie Vartan is the sensitive chief of surgery, playing alongside a gang of nurses, each with their own set of quirks. On the series opener Hawthorne tries to talk a suicidal cancer patient off a ledge and helps a homeless woman and her sick baby.

And I'm embarrassed, but I have to admit it... I’ve become hooked on the freak show that is I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Let me correct that, the freak show that is Janice Dickinson on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! OMG people, this woman cannot be real! I mean we’ve all seen her insane ego and crazy faces on reality shows before, but the Janice we’re watching on this show is so gross you just can’t stop watching! In case you haven’t seen it, let me just mention a few of her classy “supermodel” behaviors, like stealing other cast members’ food, spitting on people’s dishes when she’s supposed to be washing them, and the worst of all… clandestinely crawling out of her cot in the middle of the night to squat and pee right in the middle of camp while everyone is sleeping! This lovely act (which we all had the pleasure of witnessing on infrared camera) prompted a disgusted Lou Diamond Phillips to have to deliver a message from the producers, “Just to remind you that you must not urinate in camp. This will attract rats, which in turn attracts snakes.” I mean, wow! This woman is just…WOW! Oh puh-lease don’t let my freak show get eliminated!
