Monday night's "it" styles can be characterized in three words: short, cropped, and rocker-hot!

From stars sporting fabulously accessorized mini-dresses at the The Proposal premiere to rocking styles at Activision's DJ-Hero launch event, celebs rang in the new month with some fierce fashions!

Sandra Bullock paired a collection of chunky necklaces to amp up her off-the-shoulder asymmetrical Alexander McQueen number and Malin Akerman made a shoe statement in a pair of electric, eccentric and embellished Prada pumps, at the The Proposal premiere.

Taraji P. Henson -- always on our style RadarOnline.com for her trend-setting ways -- turned out in leather and lace for the Eminem/ Jay Z performance at the debut of DJ-Hero, while Kim Kardashian was no slough, keeping up with the white-hot Balmain trend in a zebra studded blazer and torn-up denim.

The usually-conservative Anne Hathaway showed up to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon in a curve-clinging Herve Leger number in NYC. Across Gotham, the classically fab Kate Winslet took a demure style approach, in a Stella McCartney frock with sheer sleeves to support her Oscar-winning director hubby, Sam Mendes, at the premiere of his film, Away We Go.
