More Tests Needed To Determine Michael Jackson Cause Of Death

The Los Angeles County coroner’s office said that Michael Jackson‘s cause of death has been “deferred” until more tests are done.

Coroner’s spokesman Craig Harvey said there is no evidence of foul play but that toxicology and other tests will take several weeks.

Harvey provided few other details about the autopsy, including what drugs were found in Jackson’s body.

“We know he was taking some prescription medications,” Harvey told reporters, adding that Jackson’s body is now available for release for the funeral.
