Their 10thh anniversary came and went on June 11 with more than a touch of sadness for Jon and Kate Gosselin.  Her sunny dress couldn't hide how miserable Kate looked out on the lawn with her kids and a truckload of blow-up toys as cameras rolled for another episode of their TLC series.

Jon was MIA, at least during the afternoon's filming, just as he was for Kate's birthday and the family's recent trip to Bald Head Island, North Carolina.  But having your marriage come apart in front of millions of TV viewers does bring out the sympathy factor.

"I just feel so bad for him," Nicole Stulak, 31, from Chester Springs, PA told RadarOnline.com exclusively.  Nicole attended Wyomissing Area High School with Jon and remembers him as a "nice guy.

"It's so unfortunate the way things turned out," Nicole said.  "I just feel horrible about what's happened."

What's happened is that since taking that walk down the aisle a decade ago and becoming the parents to eight kids, Kate has been with her bodyguard more than her husband, and Jon has been romantically linked to 23-year-old Deanna Hummel and, most recently to Hailey Glassman, also 23, the daughter of the plastic surgeon who did Kate¹s tummy tuck.
