Katherine Jackson was granted temporary guardianianship over Michael Jackson’s three children on Monday the Associated Press reports. Her attorney had filed a petition for appointment of guardianship with the Los Angeles Superior Court. Katherine states in the documents she is the children’s paternal grandmother and the children are currently residing with her.
“The minors have no relationship with their biological mother,” the papers state. “The minors are currently in the care of their paternal godmother with whom they have a long established relationship.”
