Tragic singer Amy Winehouse’s mom has issued an S.O.S. plea to her daughter to finally kick her massive booze binges.

The Back To Black singer is supposed to be re-covering on St. Lucia but fears remain that she is still drinking heavily as she tries to conquer her addiction.

Janis Winehouse made her comments during a television documentary as new images of her famous daughter surfaced drunkenly playing on some drums.

She said: “The need to rescue her is enormous. I just want her to be okay and I would do whatever it took to make that right. Amy is in denial all the time. She probably feels trapped, the body is trapping her. But I know with addictions you do not have the choice because the substance abuse itself directs you. I want to say to her – ‘Amy what are you doing? Don’t you know what you’re doing?’"

A frail-looking Winehouse was photographed Tuesday walking along a beach on the picturesque island with a book in her hand.

And her father Mitch Winehouse – who also spoke in the documentary – claimed that although his daughter was on a drug replacement program,  she was still drinking heavily.

Mitch Winehouse told interviewer Daphne Barak: “I need my daughter to be a whole person again. I tried it all – I said: ‘Amy you’ve got to do this, you’ve got to go to this doctor, you’ve got to do this, you’ve got to do that, you’re killing me, you’re killing your mum. For the last six months there has been a remarkable recovery, which is good, with slight backward steps – not drug backward steps, more drink backward steps if you follow my drift.” (Photo: Splash News)
