Robin Williams To Letterman: "Brotherhood Of Zipper Chests"

Leave it to Robin Williams to turn something as serious as his own open-heart surgery into a laugh.

The 57-year-old funnyman had surgery two months ago at the Cleveland Clinic to replace an replaced an aortic valve. He joked with David Letterman Wednesday that the pair "are now brotherhood of the zipper chests,' as Letterman had his own major heart surgery done nine years ago.

"I have one new valve and a repaired valve," Williams said. "I have a cow valve, which is great, and the grazing's been fun."

Professionally, as well, the Good Will Hunting Oscar-winner keeps on ticking. His Weapons of Self-Destruction comedy tour commences in Bloomington, Ind., this fall, and he also stars in the film Night At The Museum 2: Battle Of The Smithsonian, which opens May 22.
