Redmond O’Neal’s Court Mistake

Redmond O’Neal was at the center of another legal mistake- but at least this time it wasn’t his fault! On Thursday, a judge was set to receive a progress report regarding the troubled son of actor Ryan O’Neal and ailing Farrah Fawcett when she learned that the 24-year old was accidentally transported to the courthouse despite the previous understanding he would not be making an appearance.

“This is a huge mistake. This is a non-transport hearing, take him back on the noon bus wherever he is housed,” Commissioner Jane A. Godfrey told the bailiff and lawyers. The prosecutor responded, “I told them judge, I told them and double checked.”
