Gerard Butler has been charged with one misdemeanor count of battery, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles City Attorney confirmed to RadarOnline.com. Butler’s arraignment is scheduled for June 10th in Hollywood, and because it’s not a felony, he isn’t required to appear.

The alleged incident took place late last year when Butler allegedly hit a photographer as he was leaving an event.
