A 23-year-old Australian woman received a two-year, two-month prison sentence Friday in connection with second conviction in three years on charges she cyber-stalked former American Idol contestant Diana DeGarmo online.

Tanya Maree Quattrocchi pleaded guilty to accusations she hacked into the MySpace account of DeGarmo and intercepted the e-mails of her roommate and mother.

Quattrocchi will be eligible for parole in a year, officials said.

The judge presiding over the case, Lisa Hannan, said the cyber-infractions were particularly disconcerting as they came six months after Quattrocchi's 2006 convictions on charges she had cyber-stalked and blackmailed DeGarmo. Hannaon said Quattrocchi's incessant capers impacted DeGarmo's life in a horrible way, leaving her psychologically vulnerable as a result.
