Sofitel Luxembourg Le Grand Ducal

When our family travels very often the hotel IS the designation and the Sofitel chain of Luxury hotels is one of our favorities. It's a chance to enjoy some luxury, fabulous food, and oh yeah, a little sightseeing.
Take the Sofitel Luxembourg Le Grand Ducal which overlooks the centrally located Pétrusse Valley and the historic quarter of the city. The hotel is conveniently situated in the historic city center, only 10 minutes from the airport, close to the railway station, but most importantly, you're pampered from the minute you walk in the door.
We were upgraded to one of the 13 Junior Suites, enjoyed a snack from room service, and then dined at the aptly titled 'Top Floor' restaurant. The food was as good as the view.
The next day we ventured out into the city but couldn't wait to get back to our hotel, especially our "My Bed”, which is like sleeping on a cloud.
The rooms come with all the necessary amenities such as High-speed Internet, wifi access, i-Pod connections, laptop-sized safe, Plasma TV, minibar and there's 24-hour room service, which , when you're jet-lagged, is essential.
It costs a little extra to book a room with a view of the Valley, but it's definitely worth it, For a regular room , you’ll shell out $370. USD, and there are free breakfast deals available plus some package deals.
