Slumdog Millionaire Actor Joins 24 Cast

Slumdog Millionaire star Anil Kapoor will be joining the cast of Fox’s 24 when season eight kicks off, the network announced. The Bollywood icon will play a middle eastern leader who comes to the U.S. on a peacemaking mission. Kapoor has over 100 credits to his name and is one of India’s most notable actors (he’s known as India’s version of George Clooney!).
Fox claims Kapoor will be a regular during season eight, but any fan will tell you that means nothing. Actors come, then go...and a lucky few actually survive, but nothing it guaranteed and no one is safe. The death toll on the series includes assassinations by gun, poisoning, bombs and toxins. The first lady even stuck a shank into her husband, the ex-president.
