NEW DETAILS: Paparazzo Denies Spooking Madonna's Horse

A paparazzo who photographed Madonna after she fell off a horse Saturday said claims made by the pop star's publicist -- that the spill was triggered after Madonna's horse "was startled by paparazzi who jumped out of the bushes to photograph the singer" -- are false.
Thomas Hinton told the Daily News Monday that he gave up on taking shots of the singer, who was horseback riding on photographer Steven Klein's farm in the Hamptons Saturday afternoon, after he determined he could not get a proper vantage point to set up from.

"It was so obstructed by bushes that I left," he told Newsday.
Hinton, 34, said he only returned after hearing reports a 50-year-old woman had fallen at that address, and snapped a few shots on the street of the singer being put into an ambulance.
"I arrived more than 10 minutes after she fell, and I was shooting from the street," Hinton said. "I don't know what Madonna's publicist, Liz Rosenberg is talking about... if a photographer startled a horse, I'm thinking we would have seen the pictures by now. That would be such an egregious thing to do, to trespass and startle a horse -- the police would have been looking for a photographer." (Photo: WENN)
