Michael Jackson's SUV Hits Ambulance

The King Of Pop Michael Jackson has reportedly been involved in a bizarre car smash involving an ambulance and some paparazzi in Los Angeles.
The performer’s Cadillac Escalade side-swiped the ambulance outside Cedars Sinai hospital in L.A. en route to pick-up Jackson on Wednesday.
Immediately after the impact Jackson’s driver stepped out of the vehicle with an umbrella before walking to the hospital doors to meet the star. Medical technician Jamin Mauro told KNBC-TV: “We were hit by the Escalade, and I was taking pictures for my insurance company. About 30 seconds after, Jackson walked out of the medical building. He jumped into the Escalade and they sped-off."
Mauro also revealed that a nurse told him that the Jackson had been in the building and that his own photographs would also confirm this.
Officials with the Beverly Hills Police Department confirmed to RadarOnline.com that an accident involving a dark colored SUV occurred on April 22nd at 3:20pm in the Roxbury/Linden alley north of Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills.
Police issued a statement saying: “The suspect’s vehicle was being followed by a group of paparazzi at the time of the collision. The suspect is unknown at the time. There were no injuries reported. The collision is currently under investigation. There are no further details at this time.”
Mauro said he and his partner were banged up in the crash, but more upset that the driver of the Escalade did not take the time to exchange information before driving off.
Mauro added that he was unsure why the driver ignored the EMTs. "I don't know if Jackson told him to leave or not," Mauro said. "But they should have stayed." (Photo: Ginsburg-Spaly)
