Danny Bonaduce's ex-wife Gretchen has scored her own reality TV show but he's so unhappy about some of the comments she's made about their life together he's willing to write a large check to prove her wrong!

In an interview with RadarOnline.com, Danny, now a DJ on thetop-rated morning show at WYSP in Philadelphia, says he's been particularly annoyed by some of Gretchen's recent comments.

Her new reality TV series Reinventing Bonaduce will chronicle her pursuit to build a new life after Danny and she's said having the last name Bonaduce has proven to be an obstacle in the dating world.

That didn't sit well with Danny. He told RadarOnline.com: "Gretchen's maiden name is Hillmer, I'll write her a check for $50,000 right now if she legally and professionally changes her name from Bonaduce back to Hillmer, if she thinks the last name of Bonaduce is such a hindrance to her.

"If she wasn't my ex-wife nobody would care about her in Hollywood."

Danny and Gretchen met on a blind date and were married on the same day. Their stormy life and Danny's problems were famously chronicled on the reality show Breaking Bonaduce. They divorced after 17 years.
