Idol: Kelly Pickler To Perform Next Week

Kelly Pickler, whose wildly successful career emanated from the American Idol stage, return to her roots next week.
The country music wunderkind, one of only six country artists whose first two albums debuted at the top spot on the charts -- will ply her craft on the Idol stage come Wednesday.
Though she didn't win during her stint on the show's fifth season (Taylor Hicks was the eventual victor), she has more than made up for it with two hot-selling albums, a mantle place full of awards and a multi-million dollar endorsement deal (with Sexy Hair). Not Bad.

And get ready to feel old (or not, teenyboppers) -- next week's American Idol theme, an ingenious one in our opinion, has contestants singing songs from the year they were born. (Photo: WENN)
