Idol: Anoop Dogg Likely Barks Way Into Top 6

With the buzz on him waning, Anoop Desai needed to hit a home run on Tuesday's Hollywood-themed edition of American Idol to keep pace with the others.
He did. The 21-year-old North Carolina native belted a deep, soulful performance of Bryan Adams 1991 hit (Everything I Do) I Do It For You," likely earning him enough love from the voters to make it another week.
Judge Randy Jackson told Desai that, despite questionable song selection (the tune was featured in the Kevin Costner film Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves), he was pleasantly surprised by the end result.

"The last couple weeks for me, you have definitely found your zone dude," Jackson told him. "You are rocking the house right about now. I thought you did a really good job man -- congrats!'
Idol's results show airs tonight at 9/8c.
