EXCLUSIVE: Source Defends Levi’s Claims About Palin Family

As Levi Johnston, the father of Sarah Palin’s grandson Tripp and ex-fiance of her daughter Bristol, continues to raise eyebrows as he hits the interview circuit, a source in the Palin family talks to RadarOnline.com about the big risks and steep odds facing the nineteen year old.
“That little guy has no idea what he’s getting into,” the source says. “I feel sorry for the guy. For the next 18 years he’s going to have to fight to see his kid.”
Johnston revealed on The Tyra Banks Show that he shared a room with Bristol in the Palin home. After Palin denied those claims, Johnston went on CBS’s The Early Show to reveal LINK: he left his toiletries at their house and inferred Palin’s statement was inaccurate.
The source backs up Johnston’s story. “All I can say is, every time I was at the Palins Levi was with Bristol.”
Johnston’s family has been open about fearing the custody battle proceedings given the governor’s power and influence in Alaska. This isn’t the first time Palin has been under attack for allegedly abusing her office. In 2008, she came under fire for dismissing the Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan. Critics claimed Palin did so since Monegan resisted pressure from her to fire an ex-brother in law- a charge the governor denied.

“It’s pretty obvious this is their track record. The Palins are doing the same thing ruining his reputation to Levi, it’s pretty sad,” the source continued. “The only chance he’s got is to reconcile with Bristol. Then they’ll think he’s the greatest thing since sliced bread.”
