David Beckham Fights Backs Against Paparrazzo's Claims

Don't mess with David Beckham. The soccer stud- who was sued by a photographer who alleged the Brit's bodyguard roughed him up- is not taking the claims lying down, fighting back in court and denying "each and every allegation."

In papers filed on April 13 at the Los Angeles Superior Court, Beckham's legal team says any injuries claimed by the photographer Emicles Da Mata "resulted from Plaintiff's Da Mata's own intentional tortuous conduct." The December 7 incident in question occurred when Da Mata was trailing Beckham and his wife Victoria in his car. Da Mata claimed that a bodyguard for the couple approached him, took his camera beat him up.

At the time, Beckham's lawyer released a statement saying: "The allegations against Mr. Beckham are false and are without merit. This is another in a long line of paparazzi cases where they chase celebrities and their families causing endangerment."
