Sharon Osbourne Sued for Battery

Sharon Osbourne, better known as Ozzy's better half, is being sued by Rock of Love Charm School star Megan Hauserman for battery and negligence.
The issue stems from an incident that occurred during a taping of the show's reunion special on December 13, 2008. Hauserman told police that Osbourne, who hosts the show, ran across the stage and grabbed her by the hair- holding on until security stepped in to separate them.
The act of violence wasn't unprompted. Hauserman insulted the British icon, tossing out crude comments about Ozzy. The audience was clearly on Osbourne's side- cheering in support as Hauserman was taken off the stage.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirms to RadarOnline.com exclusively that the alleged incident has been turned over to the City Attorney's office (which only handles misdemeanor matters rather than felonies). Hauserman is seeking reimbursement for any medical or legal fees and other miscellaneous "damages".
