Drag King Tyra: Fashionably Supportive or P.C. Overload?

A statuesque Tyra Banks, beaming loud and proud to support the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation Media Awards on Saturday in NYC, was clad in a tuxedo inspired pant suit and all.  Tyra is not known for rocking pant suits at award shows, but she must have thought it befitting for the GLAAD Awards.  Interestingly enough, Judith Light, another heterosexual supporter also opted for a black pant suit for the gay affair.

Phillip Bloch, the style eyes, hands, and genius behind many of Hollywood's leading ladies, thought the outfit choices were interesting and tells RadarOnline.com exclusively, " I'm a little befuddled - how odd when everybody chose politically correct black when pop colors have been the predictions for the spring season.  Perhaps the pant suits were de rigeur so that those who are not lipstick lesbians could feel at ease!  It's an odd anomaly because there is nothing saying that the black pant suit is chic for spring.  But I suppose it is always classic and gowns would have definitely been over the top.  Perhaps the ladies left the over-the-top fashion statements for the queens!"

Tyra was definitely still model glam in her tuxedo pant suit, but was it fashionably supportive or trying to be too politically correct?  After all, girlfriend is Oprah's protégé!
