Only days after RadarOnline.com exclusively posted bombshell photographs of Anna Nicole's doctor Khristine Eroshevich snorting a white powder, authorities in Florida have re-opened their investigation into Anna Nicole's death.

In a statement to RadarOnline.com, Ron Ishoy, the spokesman for Ft. Lauderdale State Attorney Mike Satz said, "Our prosecutors have met with representatives of the Los Angeles district attorney's office and the California Department of Justice and discussed the evidence they have turned up in their investigation. We are now investigating that evidence to see where it might lead in relation to Ms. Smith's death here in Broward County in 2007."

Anna Nicole Smith died of an accidental overdose of a combination of prescription drugs in Broward County in February of 2007. She was 39.

Smith's companion and lawyer, Howard K. Stern, and two doctors, Sandeep Kapoor and Khristine Eroshevich, were charged last week with eight felonies for illegally conspiring to provide controlled substances to Smith between June 2004 and January 2007.

All three were arrested and later released on bail.

Florida state prosecutors could re-open the case if the defendants were found guilty of illegally administering the drugs that eventually led to Nicole Smith's death.

In a murder case there is no statue of limitations, meaning it does not matter how much time has gone by since the case closed; it can always be reopened.
