Rihanna's Friends Worried Brown Roughed Her Up Before

In the brand new issue of US Weekly, two friends of Rihanna's claim that Chris Brown may have previously roughed her up before their alleged fight early Sunday morning.
An insider tells the magazine that Rihanna always had a "volatile" relationship with the R&B singer.
A Rihanna confidant adds that bruises were clearly visible on the singer's neck in early December.
The friend says: "I asked if everything was OK with her and Chris. She told me, they'd broke up again. I didn't pursue the issue further."
Rihanna is reportedly cooperating with Los Angeles detectives as they launch a battery investigation.
So far, Brown has not been charged with any crime. He remains free on $50,000 bail on suspicion of making a criminal threat.
