Singer Brandy Norwood is responding to a lawsuit filed against her by one of the people involved in a car crash she was involved in.

Radaronline.com has exclusively obtained court documents filed by
Norwood’s attorneys in response to a lawsuit filed by Donald Lite.
The tragic car crash took place on December 30, 2006 on the 405 freeway
in Los Angeles. Brandy’s car rear ended Awatef Aboudiha’s vehicle, and
killed her. Lite’s car was also involved in the accident.

Brandy denies each and every allegation in Lite’s lawsuit and is
demanding a jury trial. She says in her response that “if the plaintiff
suffered or sustained damages as alleged in the complaint, those damages
were proximately caused and contributed to by plaintiff by his failure
to conduct himself in a manner ordinarily expected of reasonable
prudent persons”.

Brandy wasn’t criminally charged in the accident. Donald Lite, filed
the lawsuit against Brandy, and the estate of the woman who died in the
crash. Lite originally alleged in his lawsuit that Brandy and Aboudiha
failed to keep a safe distance from his vehicle, and their disregard for
for road-rules caused the pile-up. He is seeking an undetermined amount
he alleges that he has serious and permanent injuries. Lite’s lawsuit
was originally filed on December 8, 2008.
