Nicollette Sheridan's "Desperate" Death!

Desperate Housewives fans are in for a huge shock and so is Nicollette Sheridan!
In an electrifying twist, producers will kill off Nicollette's character with a huge jolt from a power line, The National Enquirer reports. When the sexy star leaves the show in a special episode in April , her character -- devious real estate agent Edie Britt -- will survive a car crash only to succumb to a surge from a live wire moments later .
"I'm OK with leaving," Nicollette told the insider. "I'm on to the next project and done with this show." Sheridan has been known to clash with series creator Marc Cherry, and sources say Cherry and the writers have been planning a dramatic demise befitting Nicollette.
Her final episode is appropriately titled A Spark to Pierce the Dark.
