Alison Krauss Record Grammy Night

With her 5-Grammy haul last night, Alison Krauss has snared an unprecedented 26 total trophies, making her the winningest female artist in Grammy history. She is just one win from tying all-time (living) champ Quincy Jones.

She still has a way to go before catching the late classical conductor Georg Solti, who won 31 Grammys during his long career.

However, there's a chance she could do it: her fellow artist T Bone Burnett said of his collaboration with Krauss and Robert Plant, "Yes, we're doing another record!"

Krauss herself wasn't looking that far ahead. She told reporters backstage, "I'm still amazed I get to do this for a living!"
