For Amy Winehouse, marriage is about to get a whole lot uglier.

According to People magazine, imprisoned hubby Blake Fielder-Civil may use one of the 25 year-old singer's love letters during the divorce as leverage to grab a share of her fortune.

"Blake doesn't want a reconciliation with Amy now," said Fielder-Civil's mother Georgette. "It was not designed to be used in the divorce. We've done a lot of soul searching. She did love Blake very much. It is a shame he is no longer in love with her, but it shows how important Blake was to Amy."

This validates a report in the British press that the contents of the love letter prove how significant Civil was to Winehouse's career.

Excerpts from the handwritten letter, published by UK News of the World, indicate that Winehouse promised to write new albums for Fielder-Civil.

In addition, songs from her bestseller Back to Black are widely thought to be inspired by the couple's early, stormy relationship.

On these grounds, attorneys for the jailed Fielder-Civil will argue that he's entitled to 50% of Winehouse's estimated $15 million earnings.

Winehouse, who is on a long vacation in the Caribbean, has reportedly pledged that she won't let her husband have a divorce.
