Not letting any grass grow under her feet, Governor Sarah Palin has formed a political action committee -- the first step in the long road to running for the Presidency.

She writes, in part, "SarahPAC believes America's best days are ahead. Our country, founded on conservative principles and the fight for freedom, must confront the challenges of the 21st century with integrity, innovation, and determination.
SarahPAC believes energy independence is a cornerstone of the economic security and progress that every American family wants and deserves."
While 2008 also-rans Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, and other potential candidates have yet to act, you can expect them to join the fray soon enough for the privilege of facing off against Barack Obama in 2012.
