Potter Saved By Videogames

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe owes his incredible career to videogames.

According to The Daily Beast, the 19 year-old suffers from a "mild" form of dyspraxia, a developmental motor control impairment that interferes with physical coordination, as well as learning ability.

In the case of Radcliffe, it made simple tasks like writing or tying shoes more difficult. The solution?

"I played a lot of videogames as a kid which really helped," Radcliffe said. Working all those fine motor skills really helped to conquer what he describes as his "bad coordination."

Without those skills and the confidence they gave him, he doesn't think he would have had the ability to audition for acting parts.
