Osbournes Get A Reboot

Just when you thought it was safe to turn on the TV, the Osbournes are getting ready for their comeback in Osbournes Reloaded.

Ozzy Osbourne, Sharon, and kids Jack and Kelly spent 4 years raising (or lowering) the bar on their MTV reality show The Osbournes. This time, the former Black Sabbath bat-head-eating singer and his kin will host a variety show with songs, skits, audience participation, guest stars and, we're guessing, family spats.

At a press conference yesterday, producers for the Fox show -- which will air in the spring -- said there will even be "mini-Osbournes" -- British children who dress and behave like the elder Osbournes.

"It is family viewing," Fox network exec Mike Darnell said. No, really. "We might have a few old age pensioners being kissed, and stripping grandmas, but it is all good clean fun."

Ozzy explained his reasons for doing the show.

"I'm willing to try anything once," he said. "We are a very dysfunctional family, doing a very dysfunctional show."

Has he changed since the last series ended 3 years ago?

Yes, he said. "I put a new suit on this morning".

So far, just 6 episodes have been shot. Producers want to see how it does before making more.

"We're in a recession," Kelly noted.
