Lost Actor Almost Quit Acting

When Lost returns to ABC tonight, there's one actor you almost didn't see.

Josh Holloway, who has risen to fame as the surly Sawyer on the smash series, says that he was about to change professions when he got the role on the popular thriller.

The 39 year-old actor tells Playboy magazine that he was fed up not getting regular work after 9 years of auditioning.

"I got my real estate license in the mail four days before I booked Lost," he said.

Given the iffy nature of the business, it's probably a good idea to hold onto that thing.
