Jill Biden Slips Up Big time

(Photo: Splash News Online) During a taping of The Oprah Winfrey Show at Washington's Kennedy Center, Jill Biden -- wife of the soon-to-be-Veep -- let slip that her husband had been offered the job of Vice-President or Secretary of State.

His choice.

The audience was stunned by the revelation. So was Oprah who, when there was a break in the taping, just kept saying "Oh my god!"

Joe Biden, too, didn't seem too happy, having put a finger of his lips to hush his wife during the taping.

Obviously, the fact that Hillary Clinton was second choice for the cabinet post won't sit well with her or, more importantly, with her many supporters who already felt she was short-shrifted not to be offered the second spot on the ticket.

As to why Biden didn't take the job, Jill said it would have required him to be away from his family for too long.
