Dane Cook's half brother has pleaded not guilty to stealing millions from the comedian.

43 year-old Darryl McCauley, who was being paid $12,500 a month as business manager for Cook's company, Great Dane Enterprises, was arraigned at Woburn District Court for charges including larceny and forgery.

McCauley has specifically been accused of moving funds from Cook's business accounts to his own between July 2007 and December 2008. At one point McCauley allegedly forged a check for $3 million.

Prosecutors also claim that McCauley spent the money on four cars, as well as a seven-day cross country trip.

According to Cook's attorney, the comic was understandably "very distraught" over the situation. However, McCauley's lawyer, Robert Goldstein, claims that his client is innocent.

"Mr. McCauley denies taking money from his brother without his consent," he said. "He's ready to confront these allegations."

Cook has hired a new business manager.
