Clooney And Dad Take The Stage

George Clooney and his journalist dad Nick Clooney talked to students at the Washington, D.C. Newseum -- a museum about news -- before screening his 2005 film Good Night and Good Luck.

The film is about pioneering TV journalist Edward R. Murrow and his fight to get CBS to back his reporting of the abuses of Communist-hunting Senator Joseph McCarthy.

The father-and-son bantered between serious discussions of journalism.

"Never cared for this kid!" Nick quipped at one point. "His sister's great."

"I always wanted to be adopted, couldn't find anyone," his 47 year-old son shot back.

The elder Clooney teaches journalism at American University.
