You Think The Auto Industry's In Trouble?

At least no one's stealing a whole lotta cars from the lots.

TorrentFreak.com has posted a list of the 10 most pirated PC games during 2008.

Spore tops the list a 1.7 million downloads, followed by The Sims 2 at nearly 1.2 million, Assassins Creed at just over 1 million, and then Crysis, Command & Conquer 3, Call of Duty 4, GTA San Andreas, Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, and at a "mere" 470,000 downloads Pro Evolution Soccer '09.

What's astonishing is that this accounts for nearly $450 million in monies that go everywhere but to the creators and legal suppliers.

Look for the technology and process to get a lot more complicated as the price of developing these games rises.
