Lending support was actor Michael Caine, who talked about his memories as a child in London during the World War II bombings, as well as a foot soldier in the Korean War.

He also said he was happy to meet Ahtisaari, who had endeavored so long for peace, and yet didn't look for fame.

"His life is going to change now, because now he is going to become very famous," Caine said.
