Sopranos Cohort Whacked

A New York jury has found 51 year-old Steven Armento guilty of murder in the fatal shooting of off-duty cop Daniel Enchautegui during a burglary

on December 10, 2005.

He and Sopranos actor, 32 year-old Lillo Brancato, Jr., were accused of breaking into the officer's home to steal prescription drugs. Though struck in the heart by a round from Armento's .357 Magnum, Enchautegui managed to return fire and wound both men.

Armento will be sentenced on November 14 and faces life without parole. As for Brancato -- who also appeared in the 1993 film A Bronx Tale with Robert DeNiro -- he gets his day in court next month, facing second-degree murder charges.
