If you're Britney Spears and you just finished horrendously sucking on national TV, what do you do next? Drink and shadily commandeer a bathroom in a luxury nightclub for 30 minutes with your closest pals!

Spears showed up at Noir Bar under club LAX in Vegas on Sunday after flopping massively on the VMAs. "She looked like she'd been drinking ... a lot," said one witness. As her security detail shoved their way to the front of the line for the ladies room, wobbly Britney brought up the rear.

As the club and Spears's staff overtook the lavatory, Brit and a female friend slipped inside and closed the door. A line of about 12 anxious women outside grew, some grumbling and cursing the tartlet under their breath. "Ladies! Please! Show her some respect," shouted one of her beefcake handlers, which only infuriated those in the queue, one of the girls told RadarOnline.com.

After five minutes, the door opened and out came one of Britney's friends, who seemed to be stricken with a bout of Hollywood hay fever judging by the way she was wiping her nose. Spears did not come out. "Instead her other friend went in," said a source. This would happen three more times, with girls going in one by one for five minutes, then coming out. Spears never emerged once. Women waiting in line for over 20 minutes at this point grew irate. One especially savvy club-goer screamed, "Where the hell is her publicist? She would never let this happen!" among other barbs, causing the security detail to grow visibly nervous. When Britney did emerge, she looked like "total ass," said a witness—perhaps an improvement over an MTV performance widely chastised as half-ass.
