the Scientologists strike back! A day after complaining to the Feds that the hackers behind "Anonymous" had rendered their website inoperable and flooded Scientology centers with black faxes and unordered pizzas, Scientologists have responded in kind: The main "Project Chanology" website, which had served as an organizational hub for "Anonymous," is currently down, evidently crashed by modem-wielding L. Ron Hubbard disciples.

A note on a proxy site confirms: "We are $2,260 away from our goal. A new web server is needed ASAP. 158 Patriots have donated. SCIENTOLOGISTS ARE ATTACKING THIS WEB SITE RIGHT NOW! CLICK HERE AND HELP US BY DONATING FOR A NEW WEB SERVER!" You're either with them or against them, people!

Still, plans for a worldwide day of reckoning on February 10 remain unchanged. The cryptic video above, intended for Scientology protesters in Boston, urges attendees to congregate on Beacon Street in Boston bearing "signs and masks, but nothing that could be used for identification."
